Dec 18, 2006 Covert Asset Tracking
Systems Ltd (C.A.T.S.eye) are pleased to announce plans to produce their Trackable Clothing The clothing will
be designed to allow the wearer to be located almost anywhere in the world and from any internet connection.
The unique feature of this clothing will be its self-sustainability via a unique solar-powered material being developed by
a 3rd party. The material is waterproof and machine washable and will allow the clothing to run indefinitely without the need
to recharge any batteries. Once combined with C.A.T.S.eye’s own unique special technical abilities, it will create one
of the best forms of personal safety equipment for the general public and the government. Not only will the
clothing be able to detect where the wearer is via the GPS positioning, but it will also be able to sense movement, and non-movement,
and display flashing or permanent LED lighting for high visibility. Not only that but the unique RF capabilities of the C.A.T.S.eye
will hopefully enable the clothing to act like an emergency homing beacon, should the wearer become trapped under snow etc. Future models will enable mobile communication via an inbuilt microphone and headset. Initial range
of clothing will consist of High Visibility safety jackets, outdoor and wet weather jackets such as those used when skiing,
and school back-packs and satchels. Later developments will see the technology rolled out into Security clothing, body armour
for police and military and life jackets for marine use. “our aim is to provide people with a means of
high-level personal safety which requires little or no maintenance and has minimal detrimental impact upon their working or
social lifestyles. For individuals who work or play in dangerous environments, the knowledge that someone, somewhere will
know where you are and that you are safe or that they will be alerted if you get into trouble, is going to be invaluable.”
Lee Walkey MiSMM Managing Director. First examples of the clothing will be on display at the CES show in Las
Vegas in January. For further information please contact Lee Walkey on info@cats-eye.net or visit www.cats-eye.net.
