Indoor GPS OLogic Robot
Jan. 8, 2007
ComCam International,
a subsidiary of ComCam, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CMCA), a pioneering developer of Internet Protocol (IP) video-networking
telepresence solutions, announced today that it will participate at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show, with
OLogic Inc., as part of OLogic's IGOR robotic platform.
IGOR, an acronym for Indoor GPS OLogic Robot, is capable
of autonomously driving between indoor waypoints. A camera mounted in the robot delivers a low latency live video feed and
control to the end-user anywhere on the Internet and cell phones. IGOR utilizes an ultrasonic indoor GPS system developed
by SJAutomation, remote IP telepresence developed by ComCam International and OLogic's own robotic control system technology.
According to ComCam's CEO, Don Gilbreath, "We are excited to be at this year's CES as part of OLogic's
IGOR robot. Robotics platforms like IGOR that have attributes of navigation, location awareness and telepresence control is
a natural fit for our rapid-deployment and non-infrastructural surveillance applications. IGOR's robotic telepresence,
powered by ComCam, shows our technology at its best."
The 2007 International CES takes place at the Las Vegas
Convention Center, the Las Vegas Hilton and the Sands/Venetian Convention Center from January 8- 11, 2007. Come visit the
OLogic booth, #69439D in the Robotic TechZone at the Sands for a test drive and experience ComCam telepresence for yourself.
