This year the prestigious Cannes Lions Festival will showcase
a unique workshop about Mobile Marketing, taking today’s most powerful communication tool and turning it into tomorrow’s
most powerful advertising media.
The workshop,
which will take place on Friday the 22nd of June at 2-4pm, will be the first of its kind. Besides showcasing involving Mobile
Marketing solutions from around the world the workshop will include full demonstrations of Location Based mobile marketing
in a live environment with real-time results and data stats.
The Mobile Marketing Association predicts that 89% of Major Brands are planning to Market via Mobile Phones
by 2008, as well as more than half of brands are planning to spend up to 25% of their marketing budget on mobile marketing.
Therefore BLIP Systems and N’volve have good reason to believe that Mobile Marketing is the future of advertising.
BLIP Systems and N’volve will present an overview of
how to use the mobile phone as a media and how to provide the greatest user experience. Display a communication that is
instant, personal, permission-based and maybe even dependent on your actual location. They will also include presentations
of brand case studies within Bluetooth proximity marketing, SMS, MMS messaging and GPRS/WAP in the workshop.
In addition to presenting at the Content Showcase,
BLIP Systems and N’Volve will also be taking part in the international exhibition surrounding the events of the week.
They can be found at Content Showcase Stand 10.10, where they will be sending out a unique Cannes Lions Mobile Service which
will include all relevant festival information, for instance the short listings and a ‘latest announcement’
section.
