P480 GPS Portable Media Player Unveiled

Few days back, we had written about the
odd-i P480, but few specific details were not clear. Today, we report on the rest of the information. Fusionsoft has launched
its new portable media player with GPS, dubbed odd-i P480.
The multifunctional player consists of a SiRF
Star III GPS chip that features Texas Instruments’ DaVinci technology, which enables the user to access a variety of
video files without encoding.
The GPS media player comes equipped with a SiRF Star III GPS chip and Mappy United
5.0 from Mando. It also provides interactive education content ‘Ten English Club’, electronic dictionary function
and scheduler software ‘uPIM’.
The odd-i P480 features Samsung’s 4.8″ WQVGA widescreen
LCD display, and an integrated hard drive (up to 60GB in capacity). It is compatible with -DMB and TV in/out ports, which
allows recording TV programs.
The Fusionsoft odd-i P480 GPS Portable Media Player will be available from 20th July
for KRW 458,000 (approx Rs. 20,000) for educational version and KRW 568,000 (approx. Rs. 27,000) for navigational versions
in Korean market.
